Event
Japan's largest custom car festival "TOKYO AUTOSALON 2022" was held at the Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Center in Mihama Ward, Chiba Prefecture, from January 14th to 16th, 2022.
Tokyo Auto Salon is Japan's largest custom car and tuning car festival. It started as "Tokyo Exciting Car Show" at the Tokyo International Trade Fairgrounds in Harumi at that time in 1983, and changed its name to "Tokyo Auto Salon" in 1987. The scale of the annual yen expanded, and in 1997 the location was moved to Tokyo Big Sight, and from 1999 it became the current Makuhari Messe.
In 2022, the 40th time, the infection of the new coronavirus continued to spread all over Japan last year, and it was announced that the event will be canceled on December 23, 2020. 2022 was the first time in two years.
